The wine-growing experience of Scarpello evolves through generations, starting from the peasant wisdom of our grandfather Luigi. This knowledge, rooted in the vineyard, is passed on to Fedele, who deepens his knowledge by specializing in oenology. The witness then passes to Francesco, the youngest son. Today in San Pancrazio Salentino we can find the roots of a family that cultivates with passion and dedication their vineyards.

Keepers of a knowledge handed down through generations, the Scarpello family, has expanded its vineyards, dedicating itself to the cultivation of mostly native grape varieties. They have selected varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello, Malvasia Bianca, Lambrusco and Chardonnay, thus embracing 90 hectares of land, embodying a dedication to quality. Their constant commitment to excellence leads them to explore new horizons in the wine production process, discovering innovative approaches and technologies, integrating innovation naturally and effectively.
In 2024, this passion was realized in Estra: a tribute to creative flair, from the Latin word “extra.” It represents the desire to go “beyond” conventional boundaries. Estra Rosé and Estra Chardonnay exalt the constant search for perfection and diversity as richness and innovation. Each bottle tells a distinctive story, where heritage blends with modernity, resulting in wines that reflect years of practice and new perspectives in
vine cultivation.
